Support your own practice through the ‘Sangha’.
A practice circle is a peer-led circle where we come together to practice Mindfulness or Deep Listening or Focusing. Practice circles are not training or teaching sessions and are meant to simply support our own practice through the `sangha’. Practice circles are held online as well as in cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Delhi.
These circles provide an opportunity to practice mindfulness, compassion, gratitude and deep listening in daily life. Without practice we can't deepen much into mindfulness and therefore our endeavour is to support circles that can bring in the joy of practicing as a ‘sangha’. These circles are offered by facilitators & alumni of Just Being and are free of charge.
We run a support circle based on the principles of deep listening for adoptive parents. Adoptive parents sometimes have no one to turn to to look at questions that come up while parenting an adoptive child. In the safety of the circle of other adoptive parents, this peer led circle engages in exploration of questions pertinent to the whole group. Every three months Online or in person (Pune)
The contemplative dialogue circles are explorations of pertinent socio-cultural-economic issues that affect us individually and collectively. It is a space to invite dialogue among people with seemingly different perspectives on the same issue. We listen and respond to each other from a space of silence and practice not taking sides and melting our 'fixed' notions of perceived 'reality'. Whenever relevant Online or in person Part time one year program
We have regular Focusing practice circles that run online and in-person for those who have been learning Eugene Gendlin's Focusing in India and interested in inner listening processes. Last Saturday every month 6 to 7.30 pm IST Online
Much love to you all. And Thankyou Sandy and everyone else part of offering these circles, for making this beautiful offering at this time. My Heart feels so calm and at rest after being with you all today, its amazing..i'm smiling ceaselessly. :) Gratitude again.
Just being led by Sandy Dias Andrade had been holding mindfulness circles on Zoom, daily at 5 pm, on a voluntary basis, to help people deal with all the conflicting and despairing emotions being thrown up in this lockdown situation. I have attended just three so far, but it's like looking at yourself in a clear pool of water. They hold space for us, create a safe space for us to explore our feelings, and teach us to be compassionate to ourselves too.
Was really feeling good after attending your session on "just being" yesterday. Have never ever tried joining these kind of sessions. This is a word of appreciation from me for having got this wonderful opportunity. Thanks again!
Gratitude and gratitude for the Monday circles... These circles especially during the first difficult leg of the quarantine were truly I would say God-sent. Can't thank the community that thought to do this during that time enough. :)) Thank you. Much love and deepest gratitude.
Thank you so much for today and everyday. Sandy and everyone. From every fiber of my being. From my soul. I feel so whole. A special thank you to Vipul & Sandy for today's communion with Nature . An incredible side effect of what I experienced and expressed in pencil and crayon...is that I just felt this huge burst of love for myself. I fell headlong in love with myself. Glory be !
My sincere thanks to Sandy, Vipul, Kasturi, Anupama, Megha and all the others for having conducted the wonderful sessions for more than a month. Am truly grateful and appreciate each one of them for sacrificing their valuable time .It gave me immense peace and happiness and also a novel experience for me. Am looking forward for the Monday's to continue these sessions. My best wishes to you and all of them and my special regards to Sandy
The Mindfulness retreat was a very fruitful experience. I got to experience myself in a new way. I am very grateful that I got to experience so many different mindfulness techniques from the amazing teachers of Just Being. The inner social circle, body art based mindfulness, Honey visualisation Meditation and 5 element based meditations were my favourites. I loved doing them.
Thank you. Just two words but believe me there's a depth of gratitude in them. Thank you.
